Franklin Graham on the Hurricane

September 14, 2005

There is good news and bad news about Franklin Graham concerning his response to the Hurricane. The really good news is that his relief organization, Samaritan's Purse, is doing great work helping those in the region.

The bad news is that he recently made a dumb statement about the Hurricane on national television. World Crises | Reuters.com

When asked about the looting that occurred in New Orleans following the flooding, he responded:

"This happens in our country when we have taken God out of our schools and God out of our, out of society. We don't have a moral standard"

Hopefully, the bad statement he said won't overshadow the good work he is doing.
