So Much for an Apology

February 03, 2006

So much for Pat Robertson's apology to Hugo Chavez. Despite apologizing for urging the U.S. to assassinate Chavez, Robertson once again suggested that Chavez should be assassinated. While put in much milder terms, it gives the impression that Robertson was lying when he apologized and has not actually changed his mind (or learned his lesson). Apparently, Robertson does not think he has done enough damage to the image of Christians lately that he feels the urge to open his mouth again.
