GetReligion has a piece about a recent headline in the Guardian that deserves to show up on Jay Leno's show. For a story about Pope Benedict XVI recognizing a man killed by the Nazis as a martyr, the headline read:

Pope Martyrs Austrian Beheaded by Nazis
The GetReligion piece responded:
That word doesn't mean what you think it means.
That is a pretty big--and funny--error! The Guardian seems to be playing the Pope as out there killing people. This is a good reminder about the importance of using words correctly.
