Becoming a Communication Professional

August 19, 2013

Last week I participated in the graduate student orientation for the first class of students accepted into the new Master's of Arts program in Communication and Advocacy at James Madison University. This is the first graduate program for the School of Communication Studies, and it includes tracks focusing on environmental advocacy and health advocacy. In addition to meeting with graduate students at a couple of social events, I spoke on a panel on Friday during their orientation. The panel focused on "Becoming a Communication Professional." I look forward to seeing this program grow.
