Australian Baptists Grade Ethics of Electronics Companies

May 23, 2014

Ethics Daily ran my latest article today, which is titled "Australian Baptists Grade Ethics of Electronics Companies." It covers a new report from Baptist World Aid Australia that offers as fairly harsh critique of the ethical practices of major electronics companies, especially in terms of offering workers a living wage. This is the second such report in the "Behind the Barcode" series. I reported last year on the first report, which graded the ethics of fashion companies. The electronics industry did much worse. As one who cares more about gadgets than fashion, I found this report more convicting as I seek to shop more ethically.
