Christian Leaders Seek Changing Faith Climate in ParisDecember 08, 2015
I have enjoyed and appreciated the strong Christian witness at the COP21 United Nations climate conference in Paris. Several climate activists and faith-based advocates have mentioned this COP includes much more religious content and activities than any of the previous 20 COP gatherings.
My latest EthicsDaily.com article, Christian Leaders Seek Changing Faith Climate in Paris, covers one such session from Friday in the "green zone" (public area). The article includes comments by Atmospheric scientist Katharine Hayhoe (director of the Climate Science Center at Texas Tech University), Bishop Efraim Tendero (secretary-general of the World Evangelical Alliance), and Catherine Pomeroy (director of Climate Stewards).
You can see more photos from the panel and the "green zone" on Friday here.
