Watch "Do Justice" Talks

Last month, Churchnet (where I serve as Associate Director) held its fall gathering. Meeting on the campus of Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Mo., with the theme "Do Justice," the gathering included two powerful sermons from Starsky Wilson and Shane Claiborne. It was great to hear both of them and to get to chat with them (and I got to introduce Claiborne).

If you missed the gathering, do not fear: We recorded their talks and you can watch them online!

Wilson, a pastor in St. Louis who served as co-chair of the Ferguson Commission, talked about recent protests in St. Louis and the biblical notion of challenging authority. Claiborne, an activist in Philadelphia, Penn., talked about capital punishment and why Christians should oppose it. I encourage you to watch both of these. I've seen them each multiple times (in person and then on video as I wrote about them for the November issue of Word&Way).
