Pulpit Politics

The Jefferson City News Tribune has a good article on the debate about the political activity ban (also called "the Johnson Amendment") that includes several quotations from me. In the article I make the case for why the political activity ban is appropriate, as well as try to explain some of the history and basic facts about it.

Also quoted in the article supporting the political activity ban is Cassandra Gould of Missouri Faith Voices. Quoted in the article opposing the ban is Don Hinkle of the Missouri Baptist Convention and Missouri's Attorney General Josh Hawley (I've previously noted Hawley is lying about the political activity ban).
